Get Rid of Dreaded Monday-itis For GOOD!!

its monday but its ok!

You know the feeling….the feeling that it’s the start of the new week, and you feel like you have so much to do, and so little time to get it all done, and It sucks to say the least!!

Mondays don’t need to be hated! It’s a start of a brand new week, and can give you the opportunity to start a fresh new week if you wish. Mind you, you can start a fresh new week any day, but personally I like to start a fresh new week on a Monday. I am a huge lover of doing what you love and loving what you do, and if your heart’s not 100% on the job, you really need to reconsider, it.  I also believe in being whole in all you do, putting all your heart and soul into your work, and truly loving what you do, is a key ingredient to waking up bright and happy and eager to get to work, no matter what day it is.

the secret

Gratitude is an amazing thing!….and learning to really truly appreciate life is the magic ingredient to loving life  – loving each and every moment, and each and every day you wake up…being truly 100% happy to be alive, and eager to start each brand new day.

The concept and teachings of the Law of Attraction, made popular in the movie and book”The Secret” and once put to work in your very own life, truly work like magic! And it’s through our own very thoughts, actions and our energies that we place out to the world that always comes back to us, just like the rule of karma – what you give is what you get, and you most likely would have heard of the saying, “Your thoughts become things.” – it’s true!

So, if you want to be successful or happy in whatever you do, you will be…you simply just make a conscious decision to do so, most of the time without even realizing…and you just are!  – Think about it….if something ticks you off, do you  usually let it eat you apart, and make you angry…or do you stay calm and let the situation pass, knowing that the situation will pass?

Ever since really taking hold of the concepts and teachings of “The Secret” myself, my entire outlook on life itself has completely changed. Only just a few short months ago, I was feeling like I was living in complete darkness, with no one around me, and no life or happiness. Being diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression since I was only 12, and I am now living a life full of love, I am very happy to say I feel that I am cured…the days of the complete emptiness and darkness have gone, and I honestly feel that I have so much to look forward to in life!

when things aren't adding up in your life

….Now I’m not going to sit here and go on about how amazing I think life is now for me..I think you get the drift?…I just urge you to take a look at the “The Secret” website – you can click on the image above, or simply go to and see just for yourself how you can really start loving life..and banish that dreaded Monday-itis feeling for good!!

Sent with a cheeky wink, a kiss and hug!! xo 🙂

Disappointments Can Actually Be GOOD!!…

happy smiley face

Disappointments…We all have them, some of us more then others. But Do you let your disappointments rule your life and spoil your day? It can be so easy to let them spoil your day and get caught up with the negativity that they unfold. So I have put together a list of things to help keep those positive thoughts thriving, and not even giving those disappointments a chance to spoil your day! –

Give Thanks! – yes you might be set back a little with your disappointment, but think of the positive side, and what positive you can get from the experience. Perhaps it gives you more time to yourself, and more time to focus on your business strategy? What ever it is, you can always turn the disappointment around to be useful and actually good for you!

Focus More on You – Disappointments are usually a good time to sit back, reflect on ourselves, and focus on something you haven’t done for yourself in a while. Maybe it’s giving yourself sometime to relax, or go for a walk? What’s something you haven’t done for yourself in a long while? – Why not take this opportunity to go and do it!

Get Busy! – If you feel yourself getting overwhelmed with your disappointment, try and keep yourself busy…don’t allow it to fester and make you angry, it will only end up spoiling your day! Everything happens for a reason, and good will actually come from what ever the set back, or disappointment if you allow it. – I like to think that Disappointments are God’s way of teaching us something, and are stepping stones to something bigger and better he has planned for us.. 🙂

if something is not happening quote

Over to you……Do you agree, and what helps you cope with disappointment?

Can Music Have The Power To Heal?

….That song will always be one of my favourites, it just ooozes so much happiness, and you can’t help but tap your feet, whistle, and sing along…it just about instantly puts a smile on your face, the moment you start singing to it!

I just love love love LOVE music!! So much goodness comes from listening to your favourite tunes.  I am very blessed to have to the opportunity to listen to my favourite music cranked up loud all day long in my happy little office space, and Music for me, is my motivator and it not only makes me feel totally awesome…but makes me feel so happy to be alive. It takes away my emptiness and fills it with pure joy, and as I’m writing this post, I’m listening to one of my newest albums – Sky Radio Zomer Top 101 Hits 2012  – it’s jam packed with great songs, a lot of them sound Latin, but I think that there’s something kinda sexy about Latin music…it makes you just wanna groove!

Anyway I wanted to ask the question, Can music really have the power to heal?

Well I think so, to a certain degree at least. As a sufferer of depression since I was very young, and feeling very isolated, lonely and confused, always wondering why I had no friends, I always managed to be able to cheer myself up with music, no matter how crappy and unhappy I felt, I would play my favourite music all day long if I could, and dance away to it. I remember getting my very first job and saving every single penny to by my own stereo…which looking back on it, I am forever grateful to my gorgeous parents for putting up me listening to my favourite music, which was pretty much anything that put me in a good mood, and made me wanna dance! – Pitty for them, they weren’t into the same sort of music, but bless their sweet hearts, they put up with it!

I think music has the ability to take you to your own happy place…what do you think, and do you think it has the power to heal?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read….you are truly awesome….don’t ever forget it!! xx 🙂

Moving on After Tragedy…

Today is a sad day for a lot of people. It’s the day after the terrible and shocking tragedy of the Boston Bombings. Feeling safely tucked in my home here in Australia, I am still deeply touched and very hurt by the horrible news. It’s even hard for me to even comprehend just how anyone could be so totally insane and selfish to have the thought of wanting to do such a horrific act in the first place!

The aftermath of such a horrific disaster can be heart breaking and numbing, and you are probably even wondering what is this world coming to! It’s coming close to almost every day you hear of a shooting or a stabbing somewhere. The world seems to be filled with so much hatred and it’s sad, it really is.

People and events like this should not have to make us feel like we are living in fear of living our lives, and we all should feel free to go anywhere we like without any fear of harm but these days, it seems so much safer to lock yourself in your cosy home…even then you hear of drive by shootings into innocent people’s homes…it’s just so wrong and this world is really becoming a scary place.

So how do you move on after such a horrible disaster?  I have put together a list of a few things you can do to help put your mind at ease and feel even a little brighter….

  • Stay in touch with loved ones and friends – They are probably feeling the pain just like you, and it’s good to have a shoulder to lean on, in times like these.
  • Play your favourite music! – I love music, as a suffer of depression myself, I can’t go a day of being at home by myself without listening to my favourite music. It lifts your mood and really takes away that loneliness.
  • Turn off the telly!! – I say this, because all you are most likely to hear are more negative news stories that will only take you back to your feelings of yesterday, and make you feel like crap!
  • Take your pet for a walk (if you have one) – if you don’t just take yourself! – Walking is great exercise, and makes you feel great too!
  • Watch a funny movie – We all love a good old laugh! Release those happy endorphins, and laugh ’till your belly hurts, – it’s the best feeling ever!!

Know that it is ok to feel what you feel, let yourself have a good cry if you need to, it’s totally OK! Also know that you’re not alone, so reach out to your friends and family, give them a friendly phone call to see how they’re doing, it will brighten their day to hear your voice!

Life’s too short to spend it worrying…go out and live life…give your problems to God and let him deal with them!

I hope this list of things helps….sending you my love and hugs  xxx

Be a Magnet of Gratitude!

gratitude quote

I just love this quote! it pretty much sums up gratitude in nut shell! No matter where you are in life right now, at this very moment, if you aren’t feeling the magic of gratitude, stop for just a moment, and take the moment to think what it is in your life right now, that is stopping you from feeling happy. Is it your current job? is it your relationships? is it that you feel like you don’t have enough money?  – What ever it is, you CAN change it! and it’s really quite simple…just start practicing feeling grateful for every single moment, situation and thing in your life right now, no matter how bad you feel about the situation, turn it around, be thankful and grateful for what it’s taught you and the lessons you’ve learnt.

we often take for granted

The power of gratitude is incredible…once you learn to practice it every single moment, you will start to wonder why you never did before!

Image for one moment…having every single thing you could ever want…the dream home, the dream car, taking the family on countless trips away to your favourite location, being completely in control of your life!  – You can have it all! it’s the law of gratitude, – what you give out, you receive, and it’s been proven time and time again, by so many famous people. There’s even countless books on gratitude, – my favourite is “The Magic” written by Rhonda Byrne, the same author of  the very popular book, “The Secret.”

If you haven’t got the book, I urge you to get yourself a copy….it really is an awesome read, and a powerful book. If you follow her teachings and advice, you will start to see your life change almost instantly!

When you start practicing gratitude, being truly grateful for everything you have, just like a magnet you will attract great things!

It all just starts with you….how you see the world, and those around you will reflect upon your attitude and in your life. You’ve heard it said, ‘life is like a mirror, when you smile at it, it smiles back at you’ – it’s true! There is a lesson in everything that has happened to us, good or bad…it’s bought you here to where you are today, and shaped you to be the amazing person you truly are!

Hope you’ve enjoyed reading….Thank you for stopping by….you really are AMAZING! xo 🙂

Only You Hold the Key to Your Dreams….

That’s just it!

The more I blog, the more confidence it gives me, and the more I love it! I started blogging unsure of where it would take me a few months ago, but in the past few days, and after reading numerous other blogs, it has encouraged me to stick to my guns and keep writing.

I really do believe that we all hold the ‘key’ to our dreams, you just need to really pay attention and zone into what exactly your dreams and goals are, and spend every single moment you can working towards them. Be excited about your goals! – Tell people about them, and make the most of every situation, – i.e if your with your friends, talk about your blog (if you have one) and perhaps even hand out little business cards, or if you like just exchange details with them on the spot, using your mobile phone. When people hear and see how excited you are about your website or blog, they will be eager to check out your site and perhaps even tell their friends about it.

Wake up every single morning believing in your dreams! Never ever, for one single moment think they wont come true…because there really is a light at the end of the tunnel, and a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!!

Now I’ve said all this because I know exactly just what it’s going to take for me to reach my goals, and I’m simply just following my own heart and intuition, knowing that if other people have done what I’m doing and are making a nice lucrative income for themselves, there is absolutely no reason in the world why I can’t do the same, hey!

Anyway, Over to you – What do you think, do you agree with me? Your thoughts and comments are truly appreciated, and thank you so much for reading! 🙂

Just What does Thanksgiving mean to You? #HappyThanksgiving

Sadly, here in Oz we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving and I have always wished we did. Thanksgiving to me really kicks off the festive season, bringing families and friends together, giving us all a time to reflect and appreciate the good things that the year has brought to us all, and not to mention the super-delicious turkey for dinner!!  I have never quite understood just why us Aussies don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I have always thought that it was just an American thing. It’s disappointing really that we don’t celebrate it.

Anyways,  I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all, (since it’s the time of thanksgiving) for your support and and stopping by to read my posts. I am still feeling only fairly new to blogging, and am hoping that my blogs can be as popular and widely read as the best of them!  –  but as they say, practice makes perfect!  You all mean so much to me, and your comments and thoughts to my posts are always greatly appreciated. 🙂

So now it’s  over to you, and your turn. I would love to hear your thoughts on what Thanksgiving means to you, and how you might be celebrating it.

Thank you again, for stopping by, hope you continue to enjoy reading my posts, and I truly wish you all a very, very happy Thanksgiving! xx
