Why Not Blog?

Blogging!! – It’s yet an another awesome way to get your word out and have the chance to be heard, whilst gaining an even wider audience, and building connections with others.  There really is so many great reasons to blog. It builds a foundation for your business – letting people know who you are, and what you do.

The thing I really enjoy with blogging is that it gives me more opportunity to create an even greater connection with people. I really think the number one priority with any social media platform is to always remember to keep it social, focusing on building your online presence and relationships with others – after all,  your readers and the people you can connect with are the ones who will either love or hate what you do, either way, it’s all about building your online reputation and audience.

You can write/blog just about anything…but if your main goal is to gain more followers and reach a bigger audience, my advice is to ask yourself these few questions before you publish your post – “Is this information relevant?” “What type of audience do I want to reach?” and  “Will anyone actually read this?”  thinking about those few questions, and keeping them in mind, will help keep you on track with your blogging but remember, blogging isn’t magic – it’s just yet another way of being heard by others, and the more you get your word out, the more chance you have of connecting with a wider audience!

Happy blogging..I hope you enjoy my tips, and advice…and remember – the greatest thing about social media is keeping it social and building trust and relationships with others!

My Advice to You on Social Media

How good is Social Media these days! – Just about gone are the days before any social media platforms where even thought of, and business relied upon advertising through countless advertising in newspapers, magazines and flyers..and the incredibly magic part of social media advertising is, it’s visible to thousands of people world wide, in an instant it’s posted. But it goes without saying, like what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, what happens on the Internet, stays on the Internet. – It’s more than wise to check and even double check your post before you click “send” and always be aware of the fact that anything you say on the Internet can and may reach the wrong audience, therefore ending up with a backlash of “trolls” – trolls are people that can’t hold themselves back from disapproving with what you may have said and hitting back at you with a string of nasty comments.

So my advice to you if you are a “newbie” to social media, – keep your posts happy and positive, read your post and double check it before clicking “send” and be aware of the “trolls” and remember, just like what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, so does what happens on the Internet, once it’s posted, it’s up there for good. 🙂

A Quick Question to You….

So this is my 2nd “official” blog post…and already I think I am getting the hang of things, WordPress seems to make things fairly straight forward with their editing tools and and dashboard, and I’m really quite enjoying re-posting and re-blogging articles I find interesting and fun 🙂

A question to you, my lovely readers…Is there anything I could improve on, with my blog? Is there anything I need to do differently, perhaps? – I’m open all ears, and open to any comments to help make this site a great one!

Cheers guys!! xx
